This vintage frame has been reused to frame up this gorgeous piece of Japanese kimono. The kimono dates from the 1970's and depicts a koi fish embroidered with booze metallic threads.
Koi fish represent good fortune or luck they also are associated with perseverance in adversity and strength of purpose, the Koi fish symbolize good luck, abundance and perseverance.
The frame measures 40cms high and 46.5cms wide, the frame itself is dark stained wood with some signs of age that adds to its character.
